I've been working on this for a while, this is the second version of my portfolio site. I am very pleased with it so far.

However, i'm very undecided on the art page in terms of how to display it. I was using lightbox for a while, but some of my images are quite large and it was working poorly on slower machines and low res machines. I don't particularly like the setup I have now although it is easy to update and maintain.

Looking for suggestions and comments all around, thanks.

It looks nice. You should have some indicator of what page you are on. There should also be some way to distinguish the items on your art page.

Wow, probably one of the best sites I've seen posted in awhile.
Make sure you put it in for the Site of the Month.

Overall, the site is great. I think chris brought up a good issue when it comes to nav, but overall the site is pretty good.

    Good luck with it......

Thanks for the suggestions, I made it so that the arrows stay on the page that you are on and I put header graphics for the art columns.

Thanks for the comments everyone, I think I will enter it for site of the month. :nervous:

It looks appealing and is very nicely designed, but the underlying code is not quite up to par yet. You obviously have a grasp of semantic coding, but this site isn't quite there yet. Pick a DTD and validate according to it.

Yes, I think this is a worthy Site of the Month submission.

Thanks, i'm not much of a coder, pretty much my second time with a CSS page. Had some help with various things from friends. I will try to clean up the code however, now that it is nearly complete content wise.

Instead of having to click on each thumbnail change it to a mouseover that will show the full image on the same screen.
