Hey, I joined WDF years ago but never really hung around, I stumbled back upon the forums last week and I'm going to try and stick around longer this time.

I figured I might as well post my site here, it's an older site (going to be 3 years old soon) that I have neglected in the past so it's activity level isn't phenomenally high. I recently took it upon myself to update things, that meant getting rid of the old tables design and learning CSS. I've also started to learn php and mysql as a way to store some of the content in a database, to make the site more efficient in that sense.

Let me know what you think?

Very nice mate, do you make much money from the Adsense ads?

I quite like the site - very simple look, but it was loading very slow and I can't see why.
Currently using: Firefox 1.5, IE 7, Notepad, Ms Paint, GIMP

A bit more contrast between the text and the background may help. Also, a larger font may help too.
I don't understand the Google ads. If you are selling web design as your business, why do Google ads fit here? I would do away with Google ads for sure.
