i posted this on a different forum, but didnt get much help. most just said, site sucks, restart. if its bad, fine. but please, tell me why its bad. why dont you like it. and what i can do to improve it. and also, please tell me what you base your desicion on, be it something you personally like or dislike, or if its something that is generally acceptable or unacceptable as far as design standards go. the keyword in this is constructive criticism. its not constructive if all you say is it sux, redo. thanks for the advice.

Well ... It's a very plain site IMO. I love the header and menu. It's bubbly and exciting but the rest is just .... boring! It's too plain. It's like you ran out of time, had to put the content in and send it live.

I'd like to see some of that bubbly stuff in the content area, whether as a box or something!

You code needs a bit of help however.

You should use a list for that menu, not divs.

Well, I'm certainly not going to say the site sux, but it does need a lot of work.

Probably the thing that stands out the most is that your information seems to be displaced, or at least needs to be organized.
Your home page should include an intro to what you do and you should have a seperate page for services (not use a faq page).

For a site that offers online announcements (and some form of graphic design), there is really little graphic design.
You want potential customers to look at your site and say "I want my site to look like this" (and not have the skills to do it).
Your site says "I can do a better site than that myself" (and that is with minimal skills).

There needs to be much more of a graphic design element. Plus, you should have some more examples of your work.
A portfolio is important to have....even if it is just making some mock pieces to put up there. A portfolio should be much stronger for this type of site (or any graphic design site).

The other thing is that you charge $20 to put together a map (a google map I may ad). You might want to clean that up......otherwise, it goes back to my previous point that "I could do that myself".

There are some positives. Your order form isn't bad and seems to work well (though it makes no sense to not have an email form and just have an email link).
Your rates are pretty good as well.

Karinne hit the nail on the head. The site is too plain and boring. I would have no interest in going back to this site, let alone pay for your services.

I hope this info helps. I know how hard it is to get any criticism on your site (constructive or not)...

    Good luck.....

Add more images to the main content, it's nearly as boring as my site.
