    The previous version was better. This takes ages to load on a high speed connection, and is laid out with tables. Use CSS, it will make your life much easier.

    Even if it loaded faster, and was standards compliant, I am not a huge fan of the look.

    Really? I've been getting mixed opinions on this one. My last one was laid out with tables, I don't know why its taking so long to load on this layout. I am using CSS..is there something I'm missing with that?

    The last one seemed to dark and depressing for me, and I wanted to try a collage style this time...I'm always changing my layouts ><;

    I don't care for it. It looks old. And your CSS is only styling your fonts and links. You should use CSS for the layout as well. By layout, I mean structure. Click the link to my site in my footer, and view the source, and you can see an example of what I mean (it isn't the greatest example, but it is completely laid out in CSS).

    Plus, there is a side scroll at 1024X768.

    But not everyone has a Mac; therefore, you should design for ALL resolutions.

    I'm sorry to inform you that you aren't designing this site for yourself if its a portfolio. It's for the people who veiw it, and it's highly unlikely that they'll have such a resolution as yours.

    [Edit] Oh, someone beat me to the punch. I must type slow.

    I'm quite fast, actually. I wasn't referring to the mac thing.
