This is a site that I made as a project at a technology center. I plan to work fulltime as a freelance web designer when I finish college, and I was thinking about using this site as my personal site for web design. I know it still needs some work, but let me know what you think!

    Not bad at all.

Although I would like a front page to contain all neccessary information instantly, on monitor real estate, without the need for scrolling, unless sub content amasses to an extent where that's not a feasible option.

In your case, I think you could cram it in on one unscrollable page.
The additional scrollboxes within your already scrollable front page, does not alleviate but rather adds to that glitch.

Obviously, you've found some script that allows object isolation and individual scrolling within confined areas, but designwise it's unfortunate to have that on the main page.

The design is nice, the scrolling boxes are terribly annoying.

Oh, and you need some page titles.

the design looks good..However it will look better if you remove those small scrollbars

    Very nice design!
Try to center the design, remove the scrollbars, and also add titles to the pages
    Otherwise, it's very nice overall.

Can we let a thread drop that's three months old, especially when the starter is not going to touch their site again or reply to comments?

I think it is extremely attractive, far better than 90% of the websites that I visit daily, but I think it would be better if you could present the information in one column rather than three. It just bunches it up too much for me.
