I figured there was a market for it in Southern California. So I made it. Let me know what you think. I've been getting a whole range of reactions, from disgust to awe. So I wanna hear what some real webdezingers thinks about it and see if I can get any good suggestions. :nervous:

Looks pretty nice. Looks like the text in the bookings section is a little off, though.

I'm actually on the side of those who's not very fond of it I'm afraid.

The banner itself is very nice and that about the only thing I like about the site. The rest looks like it was just thrown in there to finish it without any thought of complementing it.

And what does "quinceanera" mean?! You might wan to clarify that for the english speaking people looking at your site.

You're using css for layouts and have a strict doctype ... I'll give you that but you don't have character encoding set so your site doesn't validate

I would say that the outer glow on the banner doesn't go with the thick white border of the main content section. It would look a lot better if the glow was applied all the way down. There's also a pixel wide line under the banner, which really shouldn't be there.

It's a nice design, it just needs finishing off properly.

Quinceanera is a girls 15th birthday party. It is a HUGE hispanic tradition. They are very elaborate (people rent out hotel ballrooms, girls wear prom-style dresses, guys wear suits or tuxes).

It isn't terrible, but could be a lot better. The graphics in the body of the site are very pixelated. The banner is a bit hard to read, and the picture of the girl looks akward with that design behind it. What is with the grey line below the banner? And why did you choose to overline the links? Your gallery expands to about 99% of the page, when the other pages don't. I recommend using a gallery that you can actually keep on your server rather than one that just gives you a subdomain with crap ads across the bottom, especially since it breaks your design. About your blog, I don't think it's a bad idea, but I would at least post your own welcome message, and delete the standard WP welcome message. After that, and you have the bugs worked out of the site, I would style your blog to match your site.

    Good luck!!

I should mention that, while I wasn't particularly familiar with the concept, it only took me reading the word and a little bit on the page to figure out what it was (since `qu\0\0ínce' is Spanish for `fifteen').
