LOL, well that's the message I get from Harvey Law's website name and phone number, anyway.

I tried to make Don a website that was pretty much "IN YOUR FACE" with bright, bold colors, a flashy attention-getting animation, and a cool unique style.

    Did I succeed?

Very royal colors... but fine for this kind of site. My only (current) complain is the menu isn't antialiased, making it look bad...

The lack of antialiasing is annoying, and the flash animation gets annoying after about five seconds, especially when I'm trying to read the text. It looks pretty good, though

Is there a CSS option for anti-aliasing text - a way to turn it on/off?

I don't think so, it seems text with a certain size get antialiased automatically... Since I usually set all text to 76% in body, usually around 200% or so it gets antialiased.

When text starts getting antialiased depends on the platform and settings. Ditto for subpixel hinting.

However, in this particular case I believe the font actually *is* being antialiased. What's getting in the way is the way that Windows does antialiasing. Windows antialiases preferring to give jagged edges rather than blurry fonts. OS X, for example, does the opposite, preferring the smoother edges over clear fonts at all sizes. That's why when you fire up Safari on Windows everything looks a little blurrier. The hinting outlines in a narrow font like arial narrow yield the jagged edges we're seeing, which disappear at 16pt when there is enough size for smoothness to be possible without blurring the font.

YOW! That is in your face for sure.
A big take from the softer tones, woodgrains, leather, earth tones that I see on most attorney sites.

I love the police tape/foreclosure..........made me laugh.

It is hard to read the text on the flash because it goes by so quickly, but hey still looks good.

Nice site man. About as good as an 'In your face' website can get I'd say.
