This is the first site I have ever made, but I have redesigned it several times. I feel like it lacks something. I just can't put my finger on it. Please if you have any suggestions please share them.
    Thanks

Erm, how about removing the body margins? Your text looks huge and could do with some padding in the boxes. It just looks too plain... how about injecting some background colors? Also get rid of the image based menu, use text links instead.

I hate to be harsh, but your banner looks dated, and amateurish, not to mention a bit plain. Your layout gets butchered by Opera, and Safari. I agree with Steax about using text based navigation rather than image based navigation. Lose the Google ads. If you absolutely have to have them put them at the bottom, and stop wasting prime real estate with the ads.

It is better than previous versions, I will give you that.

    Good Luck!

Much better. I still think the text is too big, however, and the fuzzy tennis ball should be un-fuzzed.

I hope my banner is only temporary. I plan on getting one done by someone who can actually draw a tennis ball.

The banner looks pixaleted, and the colors are a bit blah.

For a forum site, essentially a skin, it's not bad.

I would make the content area, where the actual posts have content, a different background than the rest of the site.

Dont be afraid to experiment with different colors. It looks a litle too blue for me.
