I am not an advocate for slavishly copying the prevailing style fads on the web. However, in your case, you may want to try some other style.

It looks quite dated. What content is there doesn't establish a unique selling proposition. The list of HTML, PHP & MySQL stuff is uninformative as to how well you code, and looking under the hood bodes ill.

Finally the dark purple links against a black background is almost undetectable -- but there are far more things to mention. Given the quality of templates which can be had for $25 or even free you may be charging too much.

I can't think of much more you could do to qualify as a complete list of what not to do when starting a Web Design Shop.

Don't use flash as a navigation. Its unreliable and it's only used for a simple tween effect.

You website looks like it came straight from the 1990's. Try to used light colours, somewhat similar with today's website (without ripping off another website) and your website is just not attractive. I could even tell it was a business website for selling webpages, you need to make that clear.

Well, I had a nice response all typed up and ready to go, but my daughter jumped in the chair when I went into the kitchen and closed everything... So here goes.

The green on black is very bright, and garish. The hover color on the navigation is almost unreadable. The red for the link :hover is no good. It doesn't look right with all of the green. The graphics (with all of the bevels) are outdated, and don't look professional. Plus, you use tables for layout, which, with this site, you should be able to use CSS and div's effortlessly. And what the heck is the deal with the empty div above the flash header?

I see no reason why I would even consider hiring you based on your site, especially since you don't have any portfolio pieces showing yet.

At least you implemented an IE Flash fix... Yes I'm referring to all of you out there that are too lazy to do it.
