new portfolio crit

before i launch this can i get some crit.

still to tidy up some code but would love to hear your cooments, good or bad.

any testing issues with browsers of jibes about colors and layout welcome.

Now you know I was a fan of the color block navigation you toyed with, but I don't like this nav. I think it would look better with solid backgrounds rather than the gradients.

Other than that, it is rather nice, good job.

cool, wanted to add more color so i thought about the gradient but sorta knew it was too much. i'll change it to a simple gray in the background.

really couldn't use the blobs nav before, could get it accessible for mobile devices, however i will work on a stylesheet changer which will change to a black and red style just for you man:thumbsup:

I agree about the nav, I think the sites very nice apart from that - very clean and fresh.

I wouldn't really comment on much apart from the nav - I agree with chris the colours aren't working.-

The only thing being with the page - why don't you stick it in the center of the screen rather than on the left?

The nav - I'm not sure I'd have blocks, I think personally I'd go for just a colour change in the letters. Not sure the blocks are really doing it for me.

I'm very impressed with all of the pages except for the last one in your portfolio. I think it's nice, but not as visually appealing as all of the others.

thebrantmeister - what page do you mean? the login, thats actually just to show my music and films which i do, still to work on that section as it just a bit part

your welcome on to it if you want (basic security script which i know is easy to pass, but the idea is it makes my port look more pro rather than having my music and films in main section)

ferro - don't want to center it as this seems the cliche thang to do which everyone seems to do. may extend the design to a 3 col in future so that will leave that open.

i will modify nav tonight and think the blocks will be very light. too many people using the text hover thang. want something more blocky
