This is a project for an Autodesk promotional marketing campaign. I basically took their base website design and added some of my own elements to make these templates:

I tried something new with the looping "texture" in the Flash background. Wanted to see what you guys think. I kinda like it!

It is pretty sweet, but I think the looping texture needs to be more subtle because it distracts your attention from everything else.

Yes, it is nice. The looping texture doesn't really distract me too much...but, if it were more subtle, it would be nicer I guess.

I very much like it. It's surely going back to the days of the old Western - some guy sitting on a model horse with a roll of film repeating behind him giving the impression of motion. I'd read about this but there's no way I'm advanced enough with Flash to be trying anythig like it yet.
The old concepts are the best!

Nice one. Have fun with it.

As for the actual design I don't think it matters - I quite liked it, but it's more the concept which is fun. Didn't really distract me too much. Could be slightly subliminal because we KNEW we were meant to be looking at it, if you see what I mean.

I really like the looping background. I've been trying to find a tutorial on how to create something like that. Any pointers you can give on how you did it or where I might be able to find a tutorial on the technique?
    Thanks!
    Greg
