Hello, I am new to this forum and i am trying to just get feedback on my sites. I recently started working on a site . It has gone through some changes but i am mostly interested in keeping the content fresh. Most of my customers don't update their info and don't pay me to keep updating the content... what are you doing to answer this problem with your sites? any responses are welcome... i need help, Thanks.

I used to have the hardest time asking for money when doing a website, but I recently started doing a "proposal" process with my clients. Before agreeing to any form of payment, I would create a proposal that would be anywhere from 5 - 20 pages long outlining all of the services I would do for their website (design, marketing, photography, filming, etc.) and then give them a price for it. this not only boosted the perceived value of the work they were getting, but also gave them an outline of exactly what they would get in return and what the price was going to be, I added just one more page and it became a contract, so now I bill people according to the contract and they are fully expecting it and have no problem paying it when the time comes because they know they already agreed.
