I just created this, but am doing a trade with a web designer to get it overhauled.
I was curious (web design is not my thing) how I did for just winging it as an amature?

The design is okay, but I don't like the font. You need something like Arial or Tahoma. Also, you shouldn't use inline styles because it makes your layout a nightmare to update. I assume you created this in something like Photoshop and then sliced it, so that would explain all the absolute positioning.

With regards to the content, I think you should include more text about what you do. I also think you should use a JavaScript lightbox gallery instead of the links on the right side. Overall, not too bad for a beginner.

I totally agree w/ my fellow North Carolinian - your work is great!

And, as beachKitty85 recommended, you really should add some verbiage to the page to tell people more about what you do and have done. As an added benefit to more verbiage, you will be making it easier on the Search Engine robots to determine what your page is about - so, easier for them to know where to put it in their index.

Have you ever heard of Drunken Jester Studios? Back in 2002 I started drunkenjesterstudios.com, and well... I don't know, I find this hilarious. We live in such a small world. Not going to bother digging up the ole' files but... good work on your icons and stuff, and nice illustrative work.
