Should I change my color scheme?

I was toying around with the color scheme of the "Characters" section of my site today and came to a fork in the road. Which color scheme do you like better?

Old color scheme (strictly black & white):

New color scheme (black, white, and a little grey):

Also note that I use that same grey color in my forums here:
http://www.bondmovies.com/board

So maybe it will help with 'color continuity' if I add the grey? Thanks for any comments!

I don't see very much white on the old color scheme. If you look at the attatchment, you can see what color shows up instead. I would defintly add the grey, you really need some more color.

Hmmm Looks like I need to fix my css file. In my browser, the background of the page is white. Why is it grey in yours?

I like the gray layout better, partially because the borders don't look so thick in it. I don't like the borders you have in your current table: too thick and generic.

Are you using the default color scheme in Windows? Its not white in mine, because I'm not using the default color scheme.

Sorry about not updating the thread. I have changed the color scheme using the grey and have brushed up the table borders.

I looked at the allies.shtml file though, and I like the gray and the borders much better.
