While it looks very good, what's the site purpose? The top page looks like a wikipedia scrape, not a company with an objective to interest the customer in its wares.

The site is aesthetically appealing -- pretty but pointless. The Apple gimicky thumbnails don't really seem to assist a target user with an objective. Copy does not explain the benefit of this company over competitors, nor does it compel the user to dig deeper into the site.

This fits my criteria for a content irrelevant website. It's a layout billable in search of a client ...and within some fairly wide limits any client will do.

There is no way to improve on the aesthetics, it looks good. The problem is with user focus, having some coherent objective site elements are to support and meaningful and informative copy.

Aesthetically it looks good, but there are some minor things that keep it from looking polished:
    • Using a colon as the separator between your main site links could make it look more like breadcrumbs than site navigation.
    • The main body text would look better with more padding around it, rather than running right up to the edges.
    • Some things don't quite line up -- there's a gap before the "Home" link, and the big Flash animation has a couple pixels on each side that look awkward. Also, in Firefox, there's a big blank space at the top of the page.
    • Music?
    • The header shows "Home Secrets" in two different fonts; one in the logo and one in the site title. Whether that's ok branding-wise is up to you.
They're all minor things; more important is the content, as DC pointed out.

its kinda dull... in that it looks exactly how you'd expect a textile manufacteur to design a site, everything in it is standard - verdana for the font, the customary drop shadows, the reflection of the text, even the 'iphone music menu' style slideshow - theres nothing new or interesting it looks kinda like you've just made the site without really thinking, just using what you know to have worked in the past.

sorry to say it, but thats just what i think.
