    The only advantage of frames that I can think of, is that the whole page doesn't need to reload when content is changed. Which can make coding a bit easier and the site be a bit faster.
    But tables and divs are a lot better.

    Frames are sometimes good in intranet or custom apps which use html (or offline pages, such as a webtrends report). But for the web, I say NO.

    Still, I think there is a time and place for frames and they shouldn't be dismissed outright simply because there have been some aesthetically horrifying uses of them in the past.
