    Yaah, I like them on the top, such as I did on my site, I usually put them on the side though. I just wanted a change.

    On a site I am working on right now, I had the buttons on the left of the screen for the past couple of years, but I'm going to a style with a row at the top for them.

    The main reason is to gain more content area for text, photos, and whatnot. I think having them at the left might be a bit easier for the user, but putting them at top leaves much more design freedom for the editor.
