got a new site up, built in CI which i'm just learning, trying to keep it simple.

let me know you thoughts, no validation is shown for the comments yet as i'm currently upgrading to php5 and getting a workaround going

also there is no contact form until i install postfix or some other smtp server.

if anyone can suggest another i'd be interested to hear it.

another question, by putting my url in the input field, is this seen by the spiders??

Great work man. Looks very sleek, a little to simple though.

I like it, but don't really like the Blog page, but maybe with more posts, it would be better. The email address on the Contact page isn't immediately evident.

I like the theme, but I'm not that fond of the implementation of that theme.

cheers chris, can you expand on what you mean with the "implementation of the theme"?

I have tried to go for a simple clean look, i agree that the blog will look better with more post (working on that right now)

In regards to the email address not standing out, i'm going to redesign that page in the next few days, I am currently installing postfix/ sendmail on my server to use the php mail function, and then build in a contact form which will look much better

The thing that bugs me the most is that the contact and home page are identical except for that first box, but that will change eventually. I think I would do something to make it a bit different.

Oh, and I have 2 screenshots for ya.

1 - The P and U don't line up exactly in your logo, and personally I think it would look better if you pulled the names apart a bit, and then extend the P and A to connect with the U.

2 - One of the boxes doesn't hold all of the information.

very clean. I like it... but... and there is always a but... get rid of the black header. Make it lighter. It brings your attention to it so much, that you miss out the rest of the site. Make it like #ccc or soemthing.

hmmm, cool, going to make a few subtle changes and then redesign it again.

I originally wanted a very simple clean layout and i think i have over done it, however other things are coming first

    cheers people
