simple and elegant, very sophisticated. You put together a very nice site for your first time out. I'm fairly impressed.

now for the critique. I would bring up the font size a bit. dark backgrounds tend to shrink text and cause vibration which makes it hard to read. or possibly make the background a little lighter as this may help too. I don't know about the pink text in the investment section. this is the only place where it appears, which seems disconnected. the photographs in the portfolio section are beautiful, but I think that the large image should be a bit larger as it is still hard to see. try adding a watermark to it and make it larger as I'm sure that theft is the reason why you made it so small.

good job though, I enjoyed it.

Try saving the large images as a lower-quality jpeg file. They'll have a smaller file size while still not losing too much quality for a computer screen.

if this is your first design... than quit your day job and take on web design! WOW! Very impressive. Sure it needs some touches, but otherwise, WOW!

Very pretty. I like minimalist designs for creative professions (photographers, artists, architects, etc) - it keeps the work as the focus rather than the site.

The only comment I have is that the work shown in the portfolio is too small. You need to scale up the photos. That's what people want to see!

It's a very nice design for a first time. And do consider doing some web design, because it seems like you are quite proficient already.

I really like it. One thing I think you can improve is the contact form. Its a little dull at the moment.

This page could also do with a little bit of padding.

    Everything else is spot on.
