A very red site

Hey - I was wondering if you guys could have a look at my site.

I quite like the colour scheme, I was going for something warm and colours I hadn't seen used too much together, I was also kinda going for a minimal approach.

Cool stuff. I like the originality. It's maybe a little too compact, and the navigation could be more clearly defined, but other than that, I dig it. It actually reminds me a little of my own homepage (link in my signature, if you're interested in seeing it).

Interesting site, the small page is new and different. However, the page's bg color is killin me. It doesn't go well with the red you have around your page, it's very rough on the eyes. Also, the nav on the top is hard to read, I think it's the font.

The rollovers should be preloaded too, it takes a while for them to show up on first mouseover.

Transio - I see why it reminds you of your own personal site, your design style on that really does resemble the kind of site I like making, needless to say I really like your design I especially liked the artwork at the bottem right of each page - and your artwork is fantastic! :classic:

I agree that the pink bg blends into the red table bg too much and hurts my eyes a bit. I would try changing it to a light red. Also even on ADSL the hover-over images on the nav takes a few seconds to load, stick a preloader up so it loads the hover-over images when the page loads.

Actually, I just find the site a bit too narrow on 1024x768. If you could liquify your design and use percentages instead of pixels, you'd solve the issues of the too much red as well as the issue of having your site as 500 pixels wide. Liquid design is your friend. Use your friend.

I agree with what they have just said, The red is just too much and take it over. Also the site is to compact, make it a bit more spaced out.

Yeah and the roll overs are very cool (When they load :P)

I'm using RED as my main colour for my Message Board.
BTW i've added an AI robot to the above page. It works well, but misses the odd letter when replying some times.
