Thought you guys would enjoy this :-P It's the first professional website I ever made... 5 whole years ago!

    http://www.stevenmoseley.com/from2/

Believe it or not, I got $6k for it, hehe. But it included a flash intro, and the entire site translated into 3 languages.

Anyone else have any "first sites" they wanna post? I think this could be fun !!! (I'm gonna look for my old homepage from when I was on AOL back in 1996... that would be a nightmare to post, LOL)

EDIT 1: Be sure to click on the "Intro Movie" Link on the top right... it's too funny to miss :-P

EDIT 2: Click the links at the bottom to change pages. The top and left nav use absolute links that link to the now offline site.

Not a bad looking site for for 5 years old. Looks like it had some advanced features for it's time, like online tracking and such. I bet that nav was pretty cool back then too...

Also, I'm gonna forget that you ever told us you were on AOL... 7 years ago is understandable...

Thanks for the compliments They loved the nav... and the intro blew them away.. they were like "3D animation online ?!?" lol... I took a 3DS Max animation and exported to GIFs, then did frame-by-frame in flash. It was cool at the time.

The tracking module wasn't built by me... I only did the design stuff... there was a whole team of about 15 programmers who designed the software.

As for AOL, when I signed up (9 years ago), it was the "preferred" ISP.

Hell, nevermind 5 years ago -- the nav bar is cool now; I like those mouse-over spinning globes.

This is a good Thread, next week I'll look out my first ever, it was like over 500k for every page I'm sure! Ah when we were young, I never quite realised about the constraints of a monitor and was completlry clueless about the environment I had to create.

Hey, that was a cool site (especially the flash intro) considering the fact that it was done 5 years ago
