    Hello people,

Please take a few minutes to review and tell me what you think.

I designed this Commercial painting website, which should be pro-designed in my opinion.

my question is - do you think that this home improvement contractor page is too simple? and if it is, why?

    Thanks

I like this site. Nice choice and mix of colours, good design and it's easy on the eyes. The music that plays on the site is also nice and calms you down, although it did get a bit annoying when it happened on every page. Maybe you could do something in Javascript or PHP to remember when someone's viewed the page more than once and if this is the case then don't play the sound. I don't do much Javascript or php so I don't know how easy that is, but I'm sure it would involve cookies. Anyway, just a suggestion.

Just the HTML. You seem to have used a lot of tables. I'm not saying that this is wrong, but it is better to lay out your site using divs. Tables are for tabulatur data only. That's what they're designed for. Also, you've used a lot of html styling in your tables which is wrong. You need to style everything as much as possbile with CSS. It's the easiest way and the proper way according to w3c. You seem to also have used tags that should not be used in XHTML, like <strong></strong>. This can be replaced in your CSS with font-weight: bold;.

I don't think that second page (questions page) is too simple. I think it's good.
