I'm studying to achieve the highest level of Macromedia certification and I was wondering what education in web design and Graphic design does everyone else have?

Does anyone here have or know of anyone else that has Macromedia certification?
    Could you offer some advice?
What are your feelings on it?

I have no formal education in web design or flash design specifically, and no certification. I further don't know anyone who does.

I would consider either of those a waste of time and money. Instead, buy some books on marketing and learn REALLY valuable skills that set you apart from other "designers".

I agree with Transio. I have no formal education in either and I've done quite well for myself. In fact, when I review resumes for employees, I don't even look at the education portion since most of it is sheer bull...oney. I look at what people provide me for samples; their spelling and grammar (and no, I will NOT hire anyone who puts in "u shud hire me beause i m gud at desine n i will make u rich"); and whether or not they can read the instructions I have on the employment form on my site (and since most people can't, it makes hiring a lot easier.)
If I've helped you out in any way, please pay it forward. My wife and I are walking for Autism Speaks. Please donate, and thanks.

If someone helped you out, be sure to "Like" their post and/or help them in kind. The "Like" link is on the bottom right of each post, beside the "Share" link.
