Very attractive site. Ads are well-placed for information architecture, but you'd probably do better on revenue by moving them up a bit.

Also, I'm not a fan of the forum.... it loses the look AND the navigation of the homepage. Not good usability at all... there's not even an easy way to get back to the blog from there.

It took me about 3 minutes to download the page, the Blog itself is interesting, but the design is not very unique as I expected.

Thank you for your replies smoseley.
There's not much I can do to move the ads up without drastically changing the theme.

The forum was put up recently and still working on the integration. I'll look into putting a link back to the blog. or open the forum in a new window?

andr104: It really took 3 minutes? That's odd. It does hang on one of the ads sometimes, but usually it's snappy from my location.

Also, smoseley, would you recommend a different theme for the forum?
Could you elaborate on "loses the look" part of your comment?

I was thinking the black/blue/white theme of the blog and forum go well together.

    Appreciated it.

Every aspect of the site should maintain the same look and feel, and even the same navigation elements if possible.

Here's an example of a site we made with an integrated forum. We styled them with the same look and feel and same main nav:

    Ah, I see.
That's a nice looking site. Very nice integration indeed.

Thank you so much for your input. I guess I have work to do.

I'd make the page shorter and try to make some things stand out more. The page blends a little too well. Are the ads making you money?
