    Hello all,

    I just launched my new real estate photography company. The website was built with Dreamweaver from a friend. I want to know what others think about it, as far as it looking "pro" enough, as well as the logo. Would you hire me after seeing my website? Does it look professional, or like some college kid did it? Thanks.

    Richard

    ok. you have a really good start. the site is good. but-

    just a couple of things. i would change the font color to #212121 , that has less of a harsh contrast then the strict black and white. the nav links should have some sort of hover effect to let the visitor know they are on the link. also i have provided an example pic to show a common practice when handling text over images that makes the text easier to read while still giving the effect of the full images. also tell them to ad this one line to the css
    a { outline: none; }

    while($get_it !== true){ continue; }

    What does this do exactly? and can I add it myself into the file manager from my hosting control panel? Does this give the effect that you provided a pic of?

    no, the pic i provided can be accomplished by a graphics editor or by placing a translucent div with
    position: absolute;
    behind the text. the css atrib is to keep firefox and safari browsers from giving a dotted outline around the link when you click it, looks tacky.

    1. Get rid of lines in the background. Distracting

    2. Make the nav bar easier to see. Use some color for the background here.

    Add some content about your company on the home page.

    I love your site. I would recommend adding some content to the right of the title to balance it out and making the picture underneath the title look less like an advertisement so that people don't think it is one and skip over it.
