I have a pretty large table of user submitted quizzes for my quiz creation program. I always tried to keep it really clean, no borders, just a dual-page type list in a table. I was messing around and got a little bit of an inverse type of thing happening, I don't know, tell me what you think:

Definitly the second one, it adds a more advanced look to it. Doesnt look like a geocities site

    >>> Doesnt look like a geocities site <<<

LOL. I guess I've mastered that "geocities look", maybe it's time to move on.

I've tried to keep it as minimalized as possible for so long that I can hardly visualize it any other way and I was actually thinking I'd be hearing the opposite (keep it simple). This is good to get some feedback.

Okay, if anyone still is kind enough to give me an opinion, what Mimic and Brak said about the SECOND link now applies to the FIRST and vice versa. In other words, the like the first link better, how about you?

They're both painful to look at.

Go with black text on a white or light gray background.

Also, don't do columns in a heirarchical list. It's confusing.

Nice. I don't think I would've gone with the change without some positive feedback.
