    Hi There,

I am having problems finishing the look of my friend's website.

I'd love to get some feedback on the "design only" aspect of the "header".

I came up with a few look but my friend feels like it's something i can work on. she feels that the header doesn't match the look of the other design elements.

Here is what I have. Im looking for creative inputs. Please be respectful. I am not entirely sure about my design chops.

    Thanks!

Hallo! I think the background it too gloomy - try to use the lighter tint.

I love the design! The only thing that i would recommend is to consider using a sans-serif font for the paragraph text to make it more readable.

I also thought that it might be a good idea to include some text that mentions some of the details of the project, or perhaps a link to the website.

    Good luck!

What's the driving concept of the design?

Looks like retro influence (1950's ranch?) I dig that, and I think the polaroids work well with that look.

The riveted nameplate probably fits in best with that theme, but I think you should research the imagery of that era in depth before making a decision, and I think if you go that route, you should "engrave" her name in the nameplate.

Also, I'm not digging the flood lighting on the scene. Spot light would be more dramatic and fit the theme of "this is a work of art on display" better.

    Good luck!
