    I finally finished a new layout for my portfolio and tutorials web site. One of my favorite layouts I have done so far.

    It looks very nice. Works well, too. My only complaint would be the size of the banner up top. It takes up a lot of height on the page. No big deal though.

    Also, I really don't like all the social bookmarking crap. Stuff like that is rarely used, and I don't understand the point to it. It just takes up space.

    That's my personal opinion, though.

    yea good point I think I got a little carried away with adding all the design stuff at the top

    yea I mainly put that there for the tutorials I guess it is kinda pointless for being on the home page.

    Its a great design. Love the header graphics, but I agree it may be a lil to big, not a big deal though. The colours work well together also, fresh, clean and crisp.

    However I have to admit I too am not a fan of all the social networking link stuff.

    Also the portfolio page didnt seem to actually have any showcase content ie. pics of previous work. Is there a reason for this?

    As for the Social Networking icons and what not, I do understand they are kinda tacky. To be honest they are what drives traffic to my site. Its still in the AM and my site has already received 400 unique visitors from these social bookmarking sites. IDK I just don't see the point in putting up a website and not trying to promote it a bit.
