Streaming Audio From My Site

Hi,

For sometime i have been trying to get my head around streaming audio. I want to be able to let my clients come onto my site and to be able to download or stream audio from my site, but without wasting too much space on my web space and to be able to listen to it as quickly as possible. I have constructed my web site with Dreamweaver MX and i have a basic knowledge of ASP.

Any help on this subject would be great!
