New Site feedback plz.

Hey every1 i made a new site for a company called pasco scientific (the southwest division) and was just lookin for some feedback. Its a freebee for the person im making it for because she was my first customer ever b4 i knew anything an the site looks horrible lol. Ill give you guys the link to the original site and the new 1. I dont plan on changing it too much because its free and om not gonna work myself to death for something thats free . The code is rather ugly cause i just did sections at a time not remembering where i left off lol. I know theres a few flaws like dark on darks and so on but im not sure what would be best. This layout requires these long @** link titles like Refrences and local PASCO Probeware users ugh... And shes dead set on those long titles so i cant change her mind.

looks quite good.

your layout can be a bit hard to read but i think youve done quite a good job due to the fact that your client wasnt paying.

I like the banner image, although the text in it is a little hard to read.

The text in the silver bar and the blue navigation bar is also hard to read.

A definite improvement though, good work!

Seriously, I like the second site much better than the first one. It's cleaner (especially with the cartoony font gone) and it's more professional. My only two recommendations for it are to lose the Times New Roman font (ewwwwwwwwwwwww...TNR) and to use white text instead of black for the boxes on the left. Other than that, I think it totally rocks the party that rocks the body.

Like i hoped the chck i am doing it for is gonna refer me to other divisions of that company who need a site.

Let every1 who doesnt already know this see that free work always pays off the worst that happens is you get an addition to your portfolio and well the best is a job

Nice improvement.. I trhink the banner image might be a little too busy however... takes away from the professionalism of the company, but it works nonetheless... and I hear you on free work My community service project from last year came back this year and offered to pay me to revamp the site 8-)

I made some changes let me know if you think this is better.

Changes Made:

Veranda font ( i messed up the css but it was meant to be veranda no1 likes tnr :P )

Banner image - font on silver bar changed to veranda
- Navigation box color changed to white and anti alias was changed

News boxes - font color changed to white.

thats all

BTW the footer navigationas aligned to the absolute bottom but geocities adds some code and messes it up to add space.
