???????
there is no design. just alot of wasted space and a banner in the middle of the page..

Splash
- As buntine's post proves, the link needs to be more obvious
- Make the "warp" thingy a background image so low resolutions don't get a scrollbar.
- Center the design if you can. It would flow better.
Main
- The main content area is 600 pixels wide. Your images also aren't split down the middle. Why are you slicing up the banner at all?
- Banner design is nice enough. It might be a little oversimplified though. It looks like a color filter and a radial blur applied to some image with faded edges. Try thinking of the ESSENCE of blue in designing your banner.
- Logo...? Not sure if the "Blue Designs" text is your logo. If it is, it needs some work. It looks like just your name in a funky font.
- Navigation is pretty sweet. I wouldn't change a thing on it.
- Content.... looks ok so far, but there's not much in there. Add images, graphics and columns to your text to make it interesting. Also, consider using drop caps in your funky logo font for some consistency (to do that, make an image of each letter in the alphabet and use <img align="left"> to place it).
- Footer is cool. Keep it.
- Why isn't the navigation area as wide as the content area or the banner? If it's going to be narrower, it needs a reason to be, such as connectors at the ends that justify it's width.
- Page headers look cool, but they're not 100% consistent. To see what I mean, toggle between the "Links" and "Contact Me" pages a few times. Size and positioning of those elements should be 100% consistent for a "professional" feel.
- Paragraph font is a LITTLE small, although I have to congratulate you on ADA compliance (scalable fonts), which is rare these days.
ohh right. sorry..
i missed the link the first time...
now that i see the actual site i can give you some feedback.
- i like the header! but its pretty dam big! Is that the same font that you used for 3Darkness??
- navigation is pretty good too.
there is not much that i dont like with your design. the only thing i can suggest is that you get rid of that opening page..
nice work.

He probably took the site down. He asked for the review a few days ago, and probably went back into development.Originally posted by nickc
