The latest thing we've been working on down here...
It's a special image recognition technology designed to decipher characteristics of a marijuana bud and find similar strains, as well as aggregation of lots of other kinds of data (pricing, cannabinoid and THC content, etc), with user-reviews to assist people to find the proper medication for different medical conditions and tell them where they can get it...

We just launched it about 2 minutes ago, so obviously there's not much data powering it yet (the search tools won't work too well just yet), but it should be really cool to see how it evolves as it gets some real info powering it!!!

Any thoughts/feedback on design & usability? Thanks!

Seriously - I think it's a good idea. I just wonder how you'll monitor/evaluate the effects of each strain - I tried putting in glaucoma, looking for symptom relief - i.e. clarity of vision - found nothing really relevant to physical effetcts. Most of the effects listed are subjectib=ve mood effects rather than physical symptom relief.
Symptoms of specific conditions, like nausea for chemo, blurred vision for glaucoma, etc. don't seem to be addressed.

    Hey Alpha,

There's the ability when someone reviews a strain to specify how well it relieved the symptoms of their medical condition (as well as non-medicinal effects like euphoria, flavors, other criteria).

The idea is to aggregate all of this info from people and using advanced "intelligence" (hehe) determine which strains are best for which conditions.

It's by no means supposed to be an expert analysis strain-by-strain per condition.

I will upload a bunch of pics later...
