    I have a few pointers:
    • I don't really like the purple. If it is somehow necessary, then I would use a different shade of it.
    • There are just wayy to many links in the side bar. I would group some of them into one link.
    • Have some type of a mouseover effect on the links.
    • Give some padding to the text. It should never go border to border.

It's a good site otherwise. Nice and simple, gets its point across.

Tillsonburg? My back still aches when I hear that word!

If you have no idea what I meant before you saw this and you're older than 21, you're not Canadian.

Oh yeah, there's a site to review, too. I agree with George....the purple isn't doing it for me. If the logo is the thing in the top left, you should base your site color scheme off of it. That way, everything's consistent.

That's the other issue you have right now. Some pages are fixed in width, some are liquid (they go all the way to the edge of the browser window). Some use Arial, some use Times New Roman. Some have small fonts, some have medium-sized fonts. Make it all uniform as much as you can. People prefer when they know where everything is on a site and what it's supposed to look like at all times.

As far as the layout, it's hard for me to be critical because I know you're doing this as a hobby. The good thing about that is that it means the standards for website quality are generally reduced. The bad thing about that is that it means the standards for website quality are generally reduced. In other words, you're probably not going to receive a lot of criticism because this isn't your game. Not that you've done a bad job or anything...but the things we'd normally say for commercial sites don't apply to you.

With that said, I disagree with George about the links. I actually like the fact that the menu's in alphabetical order. At some point, though, you'll want to look at replacing the frame with a fixed position div...sort of like the example here. This will allow you the fixed menu you want without having to use frames.

That's about all I can come up with quickly.

I didn't notice it was in alphabetical order Alphabetical order is good if the visitors to your site know what they're looking for.

Thanks for the advice. I am going to start reading some CSS tutorials and try to get things cleaned up.
