    The navigation goes invisible when you hover over it., and I'm not a big fan of times new roman.
    I actually think that site has a lot of potential. Just work on making your text and logo look better.
    Maybe use a color other than white for the transparent box?

    I've been trying to find a place to find different css fonts so far the best thing I've found is http://www.google.com/webfonts but I don't like that I have to link to it instead of it being just being directly in my css.

    Any good places to go to for fonts that I can use in my code? What are your favorite fonts?

    Personally from looking at your site you need to

    1. make the menu container height smaller, at a guess make the height 100px,
    2. use css3 (although its still being implemented around the world, im a huge fan of it) for instance if you have a box shadow that can add a good looking effect the syntax would be box-shadow:1px 1px 10px #333/** or color of your choice **/;}
    3. sit the whole menu in a 100% width wrapper, it doesn't look correct just floating in the center.
    4. Use font-family:Tahoma, Geneva, sans-serif; font-size:0.8em; in your body tag in your css, its what i use all the time for my designs.

    Try playing around with this html and css,

    <body>
    <div id=headerwrapper>
    <div id=headercontainer></div>
    </div>
    <div id="mainwrapper">
    <div id="maincontainer"></div>
    <div class="clear"></div>
    </div>
    <div id="menuwrapper">
    <div id="menucontainer"></div>
    <div class="clear"></div>
    </div>
    </body>

    <style>
    body{margin:0;padding:0;font-size:0.8em;font-family:Tahoma, Geneva, sans-serif;}
    #headerwrapper{width:100%;height:auto;border-bottom:3px solid #c3c3c3;background-color:#333;padding-bottom:5px;margin-bottom:10px;}
    #headercontainer{width:950px;height:120px;margin:a uto;}
    #mainwrapper{width:950px;min-height:300px;height:auto;margin:auto;margin-bottom:10px;}
    #maincontainer{width:950px;min-height:300px;height:auto;background-color:#ffffff;box-shadow:1px 1px 10px #333;border-radius:10px;}
    #menuwrapper{width:100%;height:auto;background-color:#333; border-top:3px solid #c3c3c3;border-bottom:3px solid #c3c3c3;}
    #menucontainer{width:950px; height:100px;margin:auto;}
    .clear{clear:both;}
    </style>

    Give something like that a try, tell me how it goes

    Just pointing out a little typo - genius does not have an "o" in it.

    Thanks guys, I worked for a few hours and improved the site. It's all different, let me know what you guys think and if the improvements are actually improvements. More criticism is appreciated even if its mean. Just throw it out there, honestly.

    Kinda stuck for tonight as to where else I can take the site, so I'l just get back on it tomorow. Any ideas would be appreciated.

    Yea its looking better man. I'm presuming the links don't work because you haven't constructed the other pages yet.
    I think you need a different more standoutish font for the text you have in the center try www.dafont.com for one. Also spell Genius correctly

    a better idea for the menu roll overs is to have it as an underline for this style template, it makes it look a bit more professional in my opinion

    You might want to remove the URL at the bottom right of the page.

    In what sense do you mean "Take the Site"?

    Hope this helps

    Oh ive just noticed. For your menu url links dont use long names like dadsnewwebsiteaboutus.html as i dont think it will be that seo friendly.....also you dont want to give the impression your designing it for your dad Instead use url names like about.html or aboutus.html. it will be far easier to work with when troubleshooting link issues too
