Well, I'm back! With version 2.0 of the Play It Again Kids website!
This one took me many hours and lots of looking for specific things on google.
I would like to know two things:
    1. Opinions on my creation? Improvements you can think of?
    2. Is it better or worse than their current site?

    Thanks

Their current site is scary bad, so you can't get any worse than that
The color scheme of your site isn't that good... the dark green and the light blue don't match at all. And the banner up at the top is super blurry. It'd be good if you make it smaller. I would also make the navigation smaller.

I agree with George about the color scheme. Theres just something not quite right there :/

I do dis agree with him regards the nav though... I think you should make the nav height at least 50px with the text centered and when you roll over the links the background changes to a slightly lighter green. also having | inbetween the links to space them out abit wont do any harm.

Also the cartoon pictures down the bottom needs to be aligned so that the first person image is cut in half like the last person image it will give the effect of non-ending rather than it looks like its just aligned incorrectly :/

Also add this text in the css of your container -
    Code:
    box-shadow: 1px 1px 10px #333;
it will make the box stand out more and wont give the site that flat look

Theres a slight issue at the bottom of your container div now.. when you created the border radius is that an image or is it css?

I was hoping that making the bottom with an image would be the easiest way...it is one large image the whole bottom. Why?

That rounded bottom thing just looks weird to me. It doesn't suit the site at all. If the top was rounded, and then that little blue piece with the drop shadow wasn't underneath, then okay, but not like that.

The logo looks pixellated because it was sized from a smaller logo. Work from the original and don't make it any larger, because if you do, it gets harder to read.

But overall, I like it better than the first one...it's cleaner and doesn't look like a mid-90s My First Web Page. Mind you, this is a site that clearly needs some pictures of the store, people buying stuff, the owners, etc.

I dig the bottom background with the kids, though. That's dorky-cute.

Thank you all for the help. I will further work on this to improve it, (as a learning experience), but the owner of the store refuses to use the new design. I am really frustrated right now. Any ideas to convince her?

Anyway, somebody please update the screenshot thing please
I've made a few changes please advise.
I'm also having second thoughts about the white dividing line on the index page. Any thoughts on that?
    Thanks!
