I would love your feedback on this design. It's hand coded in XHTML and CSS(3).

Its a nice looking site. Couple of pointers though:

I would add some colour.. Like orange or blue, its a bit grey at the moment.
Also I ran a website speed test on the site.. For your total images to download on a T1 network it will take approximately 8 seconds... for broadband speeds its really slow :/ Maybe compress the images within your site... Not soo much to distort them though.
http://analyze.websiteoptimization.com <-- thats the speed tester.

Other than that man its a good looking site. Works well, easy to read and I do love the footer ul rollovers. very smary.

    (LOL)

Thanks for the compliment, and I get it with the color comment...

Same comment with the color. It's too monochromatic. But that's covered.

Other than that, my big issue with your site is that you write too much like a designer. Most of your potential clients aren't going to give a damn whether you use(d) tables or a WYSIWYG editor. They just want something pretty and language they understand. I-I-I-meme-I-I-I language probably isn't going to cut it.

Looks good...just needs work, that's all.

Scratch the "about me" part and just list services offered? I have given that some thought before, guess I needed to read (hear) it directly...

That could work. Whatever would give it more of a "you" feel vs. an "I" feel.

I see you went a bit jQuery-crazy with your navigation
And I think the text would look better if it's justified. Some people say that they don't like justified because it makes it hard to read, but your paragraphs are pretty short, so you should be fine. And your font's big too.

That site is actually in the archives now, and history. However, several month back a woman contacted me regarding it and wanted my services. People are different I suppose, I grew tired of it because the content is static and never changes. About the Jquery - I use to be a Flash designer primarily, I have a thing for animation or eye candy.

That makes sense. Why did you put it up for review if you're not using it?
