Everything makes sense. Except the services tab could be renamed to hosting :-)

I'm finding it very narrow on my monitor (1920 X 1080).

Wow you have a lot of tabs open...
It looks narrow on mine also, and I have a 1300 resolution.
Also - add some mouse-overs. The page feels like a piece of paper

Not with a decent web browser and PC. I know one guy who would always have 130+ emails open in Outlook...

Not unless she's got her neck in a noose.

Now, I have seen your ads on WDF in the past, so I'm aware that you are an advertiser. So when I say what I'm about to say, it means that I've thought about it, understand the potential ramifications, and still went ahead and said it anyway. That should tell you something.

The truth is that there is so much on this site that is wrong that it couldn't possibly succeed under any circumstances. I'm not talking about subjective things such as the narrow layout (although that annoys me, too). I'm talking relatively objective things, and things that you should take care of since the hosting market is picky and fickle.

    1) You designed this layout in FrontPage. Really? REALLY? FrontPage? Are you SERIOUS, bro?

    2) Tabled layout. This will slow down your site load time and does have a certain search engine impact (although in your case, it probably won't affect your search engine positioning very much given the hypercompetitive nature of your market.)

    3) No/blank alt attributes for images. Bad accessibility.

    4) You don't have a contact phone number, and ideally an address. This is huge for a legitimate hosting company.

EDIT: found the phone number using the awkward jQuery box deal. Even though it's "big" inside of the box, I'd suggest this should be its own page.

    5) Fixed font sizes. Also bad accessibility, and a waste of time since most browsers will ignore them anyway.

Even if you get these types of things solved, you still have the major issue that you're reselling SoftLayer/ThePlanet services (or so it would appear). NSFW: everything you ever need to know about ThePlanet.com, explained in clear and very offensive English.

On top of that, you're marketing things such as "manual search engine submission" (completely unnecessary and a waste of money); "link building" (good link building stems from a quality business model marketed properly, is industry/site specific, and has no SEO bearing whatsoever), and email blasts, which could mean just about anything but likely means blasting people from harvested email lists.

Then you've got the "turnkey websites" in the eBay section. Turnkey websites? Didn't we get past this in about 2000-2001 when the dotbomb era occurred? You say turnkey website, and I hear "oh crap, get-rich-quick scam."

In other words, you need to rethink this entire site and your business model from the ground up. If I spotted these things, you know other people will as well, and inevitably you'll be the subject of one of those webhostingtalk.com threads where one guy asks "anyone heard of webloose.com?" and someone will come up with a list similar to this.
If I've helped you out in any way, please pay it forward. My wife and I are walking for Autism Speaks. Please donate, and thanks.

If someone helped you out, be sure to "Like" their post and/or help them in kind. The "Like" link is on the bottom right of each post, beside the "Share" link.
