I'd register if I had an XBox or any real interest in video games. I play them maybe once every couple of weeks...that's it. And I own a Wii. So for me personally, the site's not of use. But that doesn't mean it's not of potential use to someone...just not me.
Your site mentions that you have no intention of any revenue, yet you ask for donations. Donations are a source of revenue. I'd say something more like "we aren't in this to make millions, but we'd like to pay for our time and costs." That would also justify the giant ad right underneath that blurb.
I'm not feeling that green. It looks a little 2005-dated. I know why you want to use it, but I'd use green as more of an accent color against a black or a slate grey.
No real thoughts other than that...other than "at least the content is original." Freeforums.org is a free host. Those ads benefit freeforums.org, not him. At least 10%( I don't know the exact number) of all donations go to...guess who...freeforums.org...The only thing he pays for is the domain

You should say 'we aren't in it for profit.' that would make more sense.

The OP can't make a profit anyway! The donations ONLY go towards paid upgrades, such as banner ad removal or a domain name.
