Hey there! So normaly my first post should be an introduction, but i will begin with asking for some critique for my company website.

We are a mexican webdesign company and have tried to make something clean and simple mixing up with creative and individual stuff. We have used some HTML5, CSS3 and jQuery tecniques and have tried too to help our visitors.

Its a company website so obviously their were some requirements like a clean and professional layout or good visible contact details.

hope you can give us some feedback so we can improve our website: Diseņo web Mexico

    Greetings from Mexico

Edit: forget the pool, i just have noticed that their are a few feedback options

I'm not sure about the pink font, but the layout is very nice. I like the jQuery slider, even though I've seen it a hundred time before.
I think the contrast between the super-dark header/footer and the middle of the page is a bit too extreme. I would try to transition between them better.
It's very nice, but looks way too similar to a bunch of wordpress themes out there. A lot of portfolio sites use the same layout.

Yeah in the footer was a background image like in the header. But we had decided to deleteit because of loading times

It is a WordPress theme. I'm not sure how much customization was done. It looks OK, but it looks a lot like many others. The colour scheme is good, the layout balanced, the information easily found - but nothing really makes it stand out from the crowd.

If you are really a design company, you should not be using open source for your own website, unless you have used a framework and made your own child theme, specifically for your site. It does lookfrom your code that you have done this, but I really think you need to make it more individualized, so it doesn't look like so many others on the web right now.

It is not a theme :/

I think if you check the code you should figure out. The Stylesheet and the html code is still not optimized because we are still making some changes to find the perfect layout so their are still some unneccessary codes..

And I know it doesnt stand so much out. But you have to look our competition and our market situation. In Mexiko their arent so much really good webdesign websites. So if you concentrate in search engine optimization and in the costumer you cant create a real individual, unique design.

We are concentratet in the mainstream, we want to get high in google (and we are making advertise with google adwords) and not so concentrated in special individual services like outstanding websites. A normal finance company or bank or business websites needs usability and a common look to be acceptated by the customer. More here in Mexico because their are many users which arent sooo familiar with websites.

I think you have to take that in note Obviously for my personal portfolio or for a more specific service concentrated in illustration or webapplications or whatever this wont work. I think in other countrys webdesign companys which are concentrated just in mainstream websites wont work anymore because the market is already statisfied. We have many clients which didnt had a website but have companys establishes more than 20 years..

Edit: btw. maybe we should sell it as template?

I get that it's rare in Mexico, and you should capitalize on that. Try to work that into your SEO (ie.: meta tags, etc).
You shouldn't sell it as a template because, first of all, there is a template like that one that already exists(like we pointed out), and second of all, it's your portfolio site, so why would you?

The overall impact is good! I like the color combination. By the way, what is this language?
