Hi guys, please check this out. This website is part of a college class assignment. What it is is a portfolio website that each of us is supposed to create for the class that I'm currently in. Now it's important to know that the links don't work yet as I haven't built the pages for them yet. What I'm looking for here is how well it functions across the various browsers some of you may have installed. There are CSS3 coding properties that will work in Firefox, Opera, and Chrome. In regards to the difficulty everyone has with developing for IE, I've implemented hacks to make up for its inferiority to the other browsers. The website layout is liquid. For those that don't know what this means, it means that the website will expand to any resolution between 800x600 all the way up to 1280x968 I think. Don't quite remember the exact resolution dimensions I used though. Anyway, I look forward to everyone's comments especially those that use a MAC and IE.

Looks completely messed up in all my browsers...

    • I like all the pretty gradients for text areas, and the footer look very neat.
    • having said that, I dont really like the red gradient. It's all too dark.
    • The header logo thing is pretty creative, but I don't like the colors you used. Would be nices with lighter colors probably.
    • The navigation is super basic. Add in some button or such.

I like the textboxes, I think you have to work on the rest. You have a great thing going!

I was messing with the code today. As much as I hate to say this, I don't think I'm going to develop with liguid layout formatting anymore. Seems like it's been more trouble than it's worth. Besides, according to the latest statistics, 1920x1080 monitors I'm trying to accomodate just aren't as popular as I thought they were. Fixed layouts and pixel dimensions are going to have to do until I'm more competitent with percentages and ems. Thanks for the look George
