    Hey Guys,

I', currently in a creative block because I've been so busy designing and creating sites for my other clients that I can't tell if I'm going in the right direction for this client. This is just demo of the site and only the Home, About, and Contact links are active at this time. The client request Green and Brown, but their a metal fabrication company I thought shades of grey would be for fitting than Brown. Let me know what you guys think. Thanks!

Personally I don't care for the blurry background image - if you make it clearer and fade it more I think it will enhance the site more.

I also find the text in the main content areas too small.

And be careful that the images in the slider are the right size - the one of the guys in hard hats seems to be stretched.

That's about all I can find that i would change.

I appreciate the feedback and I'm definitely going to play around with a "fade" effect for the background image. The image you discussed is stretched, but was only included for testing purposes. Thank you for taking the time review my mock up it really helps to get an outside perspective.

Maybe I was my iPhone ? But did you have the same slider animation on each page ? I can understand it on the front page, but selecting a link I should not see that slider animation again. Just makes the user have to scroll to see a change... May have just been my phone.

I guess the color recommendations from the client have to be taken in context. But I generally ask for a reason for their color selection before going outside that. Perhaps they want to be different from who they see as their competition.

I was in a discussion a while back with someone that was explaining old time perceptions of colors for business. Blue and green ( if I remember correctly ) signify trust and loyalty. Shades of grey are considered neutral to the business color... Meaning nothing.

Again, if a client of mine has a color preference I try to get the context for the color choices before trying to encourage to to go in a different direction.
