TotalDiablo - What do you guys think?

Hey guys,

Freshly made website, looking for some feedback, comments and suggestions.

The site hasn't been out for a very long time, so try not to suggest much content wise - were getting there. However, in terms of aesthetics and ease of navigation, what do you guys think? Try to look thru the different posts, actually check things out. I'm looking for in-depth feedback.

Of course the site is about Diablo, mainly so Diablo 3. We are going to get more content up, including character information, items, guides, game mechanics, theory crafting - pretty much the works. We already have a giveaway up, so maybe you'll win yourself some cool Diablo stuff while you check it out!

Probably among the best I've seen as far as gaming sites. Design-wise, it looks about how you'd imagine for this type of site, but the graphics and code are where you shame your competition. It's well coded, and the graphics don't look like ***.

You might add a little more letter spacing in the "Like us on Facebook..." image, as it could easily be difficult to read for some.
At first, I thought the lack of navigation was odd, but really I don't know how it would add to the site.

I noticed a few other slight aesthetic coding/img flaws which will be fixed soon. I'll play with the letter spacing. Also, about the nav: We are going to add in a nav soon when we have more content up. Just can't justify having one yet lol. The only unfortunate thing is some people would come in from google and not understand that the logo is essentially the "home" nav. Hurts rankings but will change in the future.

If you keep adding content not having a navigation could be a big issue. Even now the slider is pretty small. Lost of scrolling.

As for colors and design the only thing I see right now it maybe the blue text. Doesn't really match to the other grayish text all over the site.

It actually does look good overall.

I'm no gamer so I can't comment on the content, other than to say it looks affiliate-shillish, like you're trying to plug product. Obviously you're not...there are no affiliate hyperlinks on the site. But it looks shillish, possibly because everything you say is positive. As much as it sucks to be negative, sometimes you kind of have to be in order to sound more objective.

You do have an issue called "FoUT" (Flash of Unstyled Text) since you're using Cufon. Cufon rocks from a purely graphic point of view (everything looks like what it's supposed to), but for some reason it chokes with the Rockwell font in particular. I don't know why that font throws it, but it does. You can't embed Rockwell either...it just looks like a bag of ***. I ended up replacing Rockwell on a site I'm working on with Bitter (a free Google font).

Since I see you built this in Wordpress, look into putting the <!-- more --> comment tag (may not be the exact formatting) in your posts, so that your category/summary pages only have a teaser and people have to click to read the whole thing. This will somewhat mitigate duplicate content issues and deal with the scrolling issue Andrew mentioned.

I also wouldn't use the Peacekeeper theme. It's not really "yours" as such (although you did customize it), and usually themes require a link back (as this one appears to). It's not that it's an ugly theme or anything...I'm just a big advocate for originality as much as possible.

About the WP Theme used, it was simply just to get the site up quick with some content so we could start ranking for a few small terms which will help pyramid later. The site isn't "officially" released, even though it is up and everything.

About Rockwell, I was thinking about just Arial'ing it but idk. Thanks for the side input I'll probably look into changing it up.

I was also going to do the summary aspect to make people have more pageviews, just never got around to it. Lots on the go!

I'm getting my to-do list for this site off you guys
