What's good: simple and easy to navigate
What's bad: navbar orange is scary, it's a lot of text, page title des not seem very self-promotional

I like the graphics(especially the eye, i dunno i got something with eyes these days, lol)
also, i hate reading long stuff.. especially when its on the internet. A brief 2 paragraph thing wouldnt bother me, but this is huge..

It's a lot of text and it kind of feels like it's insulting my intelligence... if a marketing person in a company you're bidding for disagrees with one of your points, they're liable to feel insulted. (Even if they ARE wrong). Biggest thing to me is the mass of text... it's just too much to read. I got bored about half way thru and had to start forcing myself to read it.

I suggest you go to your old one (We make websites that suck ) I liked that one better Although I like the layout and use of text-formatting in this one more.

It's interesting reading, but it's too much reading, as everyone's already said. It's also a summary of the dispute thats ongoing in the "List of Web Design Dont's" thread. It would make a good article to go IN your site, with maybe a teaser paragraph on the homepage. Nicely written. 8-)

I was talking to filburt and krazy... they were giving feedback on the graphics and what-not. If you look up, I made my post at the same time as you, so I couldn't possibly have been responding to your post ;-)

I'd have to agree with Brak on this one. The text does tend to take on a certain condescending tone. It's also not good to trash a competitor, even if you are absolutely right. You're trashing your own reputation in the process.

It's also not really front-page copy unless you remove the details of how you do each thing and focus on those in separate pages. Then it might work. The front page should be more intriguing than anything.

I for one did read the text

It reminds me of this one law firm's ads here in Orlando. Transio, you might have seen them. Basically all the ads are are the head of the firm giving out good advice, regardless if you come to his firm or not. To me, that shows that you care about people, not money. It can hit them in the spot you want to hit them in, however as shown by the varying opinions of the others, it may not have the desired effect you think it will have in the targeted audience.
