Hello, I'm new to the forum but I've read some of the other threads and found the criticism very constructive. I have recently formed a small web development company with a friend. It is a side gig for now but I would like it to eventually grow into something more.

My full-time job is web development. However, I do not work with the design and layout. I typically development corporate applications with lots of database calls and business rules. Our design team handles the look and feel of each site. That being said, please let me know what you think of my new company site, www.evantagesolutions.com.

    Thanks in advance.

Welcome to the boards bean, nice site. Very clean, loads decently fast on dialup. It looks good on a 1024x768 resolution, but when I stepped down to 800x600, your banner took up most of the screen. Once inside the site the banner is a better size, but I think it would look better with your company's name on that banner too. Also, your mouseovers should be preloaded (they weren't in mozilla firebird).

Nothing major to change here though, nice site, welcome to the boards.

I like your site, except that when you use font this small anyone over 35 has left the page and started screaming at their children that they're not old and dont' need glasses Buck up that font size to at LEAST 10pt.

I like your site, Its a clean design and looks great.

The onyl thing I would say is to make your text size a little larger (as I am doing with the next release of my website. )4.5/5.

EDIT - which one do I choose??? 4 or 5.
    EDIT - gone with 5

It's very nice except for one fatal flaw: all the text that is in images will not be indexed by search engines. I suggest you use CSS classes and normal text links instead of rollovers.

filburt1, thanks for the advice. I considered that after the development was already finished. I did add alt tags to the sidemenu images and that seems to improve my search engine positioning. I've been submitting using WebPositionGold2. Do you recommend a different search engine submission software package?

I'd suggest never using those submission services in the first place. It's always better (and free) to submit to sites like Google directly.
