    Hi all -

    On my forum:

    http://www.comparative-religion.com/forum/index.php?

    there's reported a strange problem by a user, who says that the header and footer are simply running away down the screen on Win ME and IE 5.5.

    By this I mean the table is somehow scolling down the page at thousands of pixels in length. The cached snapshot in the Google toolbar shows exactly the same thing.

    I'll attach a screen shot.

    Obviously this isn't good.

    The header now has the following code:

    <table width=100% border="0">
    <tr>
    <td width="100%" height="120" background="/graphics/comparative-religion-one-world-religions-header_background2.gif">
    <P ALIGN="left" vALIGN="BOTTOM"> <A HREF="http://www.comparative-religion.com"><IMG border="0" SRC="/graphics/comparative-religion-one-world-religions-title7.gif" ALT="Comparative religion one world religions" border=0></A>
    </P>
    </td>
    </tr>
    </table>
    I wondered whether anyone could just check out the page and see what they're seeing - the run on?

    If so, in what browsers?

    And if this problem is persisting, I would greatly appreciate any suggestions on tackling the problem.

    Hope this is the right forum - apologies if it isn't - normally I hang about webhosts and hits.

    Brian

    PS - Had to use "quote" rather than "code" to prevent run on of the page.

    [EDIT: Sorry - this should be in the HTML forum, yes? Please do move it as appropriate]

    All clear!

    I'd adjusted the HTML to that above. I had thought it no different from the HTML I was using before, but obviously it must have been! No idea what happened, but my user with the issue just e-mailed to say that everything is all clear.

    Sorry for the disturbance.
