Actually this is the website of my friend, but I gave him some tips about how to design it and I would be happy to get some feedback from you. Moreover, I want to hear some opinions about the site topic, is it practical?

I'd like to see the Image rotator on the homepage slow down a bit so I could finish reading one before the next fades in.
I like the idea - while free stuff online is not new, having so many different categories available on one site is not something I have seen done before.
I'm not sure what you mean by practical - and from whose point of view? The site owners? Or the contributors? Do the owners plan to monetize the site in some way? Are the contributors rewarded in some way for their participation (links, perhaps?) More detail will help in answering this question.
One thing, though - I checked out a couple of the WP themes, and in at least one case the theme was credited to the person who uploaded it, but not to the actual creator of the theme. How do you check to make sure the items are in fact free to use, and how do you ensure credit where it is due?

If you feel that someone's post helped you fix your problem, answered your question, or just made you feel better, feel free to "Like" their post. The "Like" link is at the bottom right of each post, along side the "reply" link. And if you are being helped here, try to help someone else - pass it on!
You need your main keywords in the title instead of the domain name, and you need more text on the page for ranking purposes and less images. Speaking as a general searcher: I should be able to tell what you offer within a few seconds. I don't want to have to figure it out myself because I'm lazy. Spell it out for me. And don't try to put everything you offer on the home page.
Thank you very much for your suggestions, any other suggestions are welcome.
Regarding the AlphaMare's questions:
1. From the site owner's point of view and users why not.. The contributors are not rewarded at the moment, however they can add links on their profile page. He has plans to monetize the website but not in the near future and he don't know how exactly will do that.
2. Regarding the last question, I don't know what to say about this, I don't think that he checked all the files that are uploaded, maybe he should do this.
I like that, you've done a top job.
My only feedback is more aesthetic problems.
The home page is dark, colorful, and cohesive. Then I clicked on the about page and was blinded by the whiteness. To much shift in contrast for my liking.
The other thing, is I simply didn't get what the site was offering, it took to long to figure it out.
I agree with other comments above. There are a lot of small icons to get through. I looked at the pictures page and clicked on the trees. Beautiful pictures but in order for me to know the icon was a tree category I had to click on it. It's really quite busy in terms of icons. Also, it wasn't clear to me exactly what the site was about. Can I build a site there? Or get free tools? Or both? It's not very clear to me.
I like the site looks like it was made well, both front end and back end. Colours work well, easing the eye into the content. Only thing is the social area at the top seams to take a while to load each time I open a page.
I like the site, seems a good use of colors to me. A like the video a lot can you please tell me how you made it?
