Du Jour - dujour.ws went live July 1. It is a simple Perl based site.

I would appreciate any comments you have.

    Thanks!

I am not a fan of drop-down navigation for sites. Find something more interesting/dynamic.

The cartoons are pretty funny though! You have good content!

Sorry, but this site has me yawning from the get go - a better nav menu us needed, which would improve the site imensely - until I see that, you're not going to get me back - navigation is to cumbersome in my mind.

I agree, dropdowns should not be used as a main navigation. More imagery is needed anyways, so a good nav system could help accomplish that. This doesn't feel like a website, just some linked web pages.

    Thanks for the comments.

What do you suggest for better navigation?
I am a newbie at this.
I am trying to keep it simple and let the cartoons be the focal point.

    Ok, Ok.
    You've had plenty of time.
If you are going to criticize DuJour, would you at least please give positive suggestions to improve it?

    Thanks!
    Robert
