    I don't think the forums "validate" for html is working properly.. http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=ht...m/superfloors/

    passed with no errors and on the top it says invalid xhtml? hmm..

    I reported that issue to veraderock (he's the forum administrator/dev type). I'm wondering if the warning has something to do with it. But he'd be the one to talk to there...he built that feature.

    As far as the site, it's a bit hard to evaluate since it's still a work in progress and therefore I can't click on a lot of things. The one thing I can say is that it looks cool, especially for something with wood (wood flooring is ugly to me for some reason).

    The one minor adjustment I would make occurs when the page first loads...the hover effect on the circles doesn't quite work (I'm guessing a preload issue). Other than that, cool stuff.

    Hmmm the site is well done but the only thing that comes to my attention is that the line underneath the Request a Qoute ... is that really intentional?

    Also the suggestion is that the text below the circled one you can put it below it to read the text clearly.

    Request a quote is going to eventually be removed when I think of something catchy to put there

    I actually agree with you on the text part. Should be on the bottom.

    I like the "Design" I would however recommend that you start using Sprite images, otherwise if you hover a image and it disappears for a fraction of a second to load the hover image.

    Kind of odd to see an iPad on a website for wood flooring... other than that, I like the theme of wood.

    I also hate the fact that the picture takes time to load.

    Forget separate images or sprites. When it comes to time vs benefit, there's nothing better than using opacity:

    <img class="opaque" />

    .opaque:hover {opacity:.5;filter:alpha(opacity=50)}

    10 seconds to type.

    Hi Eric, I've just tried the same post to the validator and it's showing me 7 errors (and 5 warnings). Have you made changes to the page since?

    Btw, nice looking site!
