I can't critique it because the page will not open http://174.108.108.195:8080/portfolio/
That's just one small issue with trying to run a server from a home connection.
All of the firewalls I manage don't allow any http connections to non-standard ports as there is the potential for spyware and malware being hosted from non-standard ports.
Another issue, many large ISP's are also blocking non-standard http request.
Could be his ISP is blocking traffic as well, since most residential Internet providers forbid the running of any web services across their networks.
