    Hey everyone,

I just started launching my new site today. It is a micro job marketplace where people can buy or sell small services that are generally quick, easy, and simple to complete. You can sell anything from $5 to $10 (up to $30 once you have completed a few).
It's a great way to make some extra income. We are going to have all sorts of different ways to make money on our site aside from the main selling of services in the future. For now though, this is our first 'final' draft.

What do you guys think? I'd really appreciate any feedback, especially ones that are negative.

    Thanks in advance!

    Chris

It seems to be working fine for me. If anyone else has a problem, I guess I'll try to resubmit it.

It works a little too well for me.

First thought: lose any of the ads/posts related to "quality articles for $5.00" or "backlinks for $10.00" or...well, pretty much anything to do with, and I quote, "SEO". It's not SEO, it never was, and the crap "job posts" drag your site down with them.

Second thought: I can't even find a decent job ad. I get the idea, but if you're looking for people to post "help available" style ads for $5-$10, you're generally going to get classified ad-style dreck. Let's face it...$5-$10 isn't going to buy you much as far as work goes. Might get you a 3-day "free porn trial", but that's about it.

I don't really have any other thoughts because I can't get past this. Sorry dude...it's just too close to that Digital Pointless logic to be something I'd want to use regularly.

Thank you for taking the time to respond to this.

    - Totally agree with you here. The site hasn't really been fully launched so I was just trying to fill up the main page with services. We wanted to have more refined services compared to our competition, so this is certainly something we must improve.

    - The quality of services will improve as time passes. For me this is just a time issue, meaning that we just haven't been around at all yet. It does not seem like something $5 or $10 will ever give you good value but you'd be surprised. People get very creative and our site serves as an excellent marketing tool for an existing business. You can advertise beginner services, in the hopes of gaining new customers for future purchases.

That is sort of my biggest problem too. I want the good services, but I am not sure how to get them since I am a brand new site. Anyways, I appreciate the advice. Thanks!

That's a tough call. Like I said, the simplest thing would be to expand the price range. You get the good posters to throw their stuff up, they might give you a "special offer" from time to time.

Other than that, I'm not sure.

I am going to give that a shot. It can't really hurt me to try and I can always change if it's a problem for whatever reason. Thanks for the feedback!

I like this, it's definitely unique in it's own way. Just one question, are those actual users or is that just filler you created to get the site up and going?
It seems like something that could spark up an interest in a lot of people, money's tight now days, people doing quick easy jobs for $5-$10 can really add up. Do a few jobs a week for about say 1-3hours (depending on the job) total and you just payed for your lunch all week. I think people who want to make a few bucks on the side will jump on this.

Overall, I like it! Keep it up, I will probably be revisiting it.
